Melissa Kathleen Harrison Beam, 91, of Kitty Hawk, NC, died Monday, November 28, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Beam was born in Elizabeth City, NC and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Walter Raleigh and Lessie Wright Harrison and was the widow of the late Everett Guy Beam.
Mrs. Beam is survived by two daughters, Melissa Beam Towler of Kitty Hawk, NC and Martha Beam Loflin of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, David Beam Loflin and Stephen Daniel Loflin, both of Charlotte, NC, John Cotton Towler, Jr. of Kitty Hawk, NC, Grayson R. Towler of Denver, CO and Everett Blake Towler of Woodbridge, VA; three great-grandchildren, Killian Loflin of Charlotte, NC, Hayden Towler and Iris Towler, both of Woodbridge, VA.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jean Beasley Green, 74, of 103 Country Club Drive, Elizabeth City, NC died Sunday November 27, 2005, at the Albemarle Hospital.
Mrs. Green was born September 23, 1934, in Dare County, and was the daughter of the late Calvin Braxton Beasley and Lola Fay Mann Beasley.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ralph Green on March 14, 1998.
She was a retired medical receptionist, member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and the Elizabeth City Rebecca Lodge #62, and recently was awarded with a honorary membership of Rebecca Lodge, and was Treasurer Emeritus for North Carolina.
Survivors include her daughter; Carol Ann Green Jones and her fianc Robert Sullivan of Point Harbor, NC, two grandsons Ronnie Walker Jones of Cape Girardeau, MO., and David Earl Jones of Elizabeth City, NC.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday November 30, 2005, at 11:00 A. M. in Twiford Memorial Chapel with Rev. Deloras Meads and Rev. Lloyd Meads. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at her residence 103 Country Club Drive and following the memorial service in the funeral home lobby.

Aydlett, NC ‘ Ann Bartlett Sauvager, 85, of Mechanicsville, VA and Aydlett, NC, died Sunday, Nov 27, 2005 at Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. She was born in Norfolk,VA to the late Laban Wellons and Patsey Butler Bartlett and was the widow of Floyd Sauvager. Mrs. Sauvager was a former member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church and was a member of Trinity Christian Church in Mechanicsville. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Howard W. and Conni Evans of Mechanicsville, Va; her daughter and son-in-law, Deane E. and Larry Brothers of Aydlett, NC; her grandsons Howard T. Brothers and wife Jennifer, Timothy S. Evans and Matthew Bartlett Evans; her granddaughters, Dr. Tamara J. Brothers and Mary E. Kulp and husband Mike. Mrs. Sauvager is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, Stephen and Stacy Brothers, Evan Kulp, Amanda and Bryan Combs.
She was predeceased by her husbands Howard D. Evans and Daniel R. Leary. A service will be held at Twiford’s Colonial Chapel, 929 South Battlefield Blvd. on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005 at 1:00 pm Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Norfolk. Family and friends are welcomed to the visitation at Twiford’s chapel on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

Audrey Anne Ross Talmadge, 66, of 214 Harris Landing Road, Hertford, NC, died Sunday November 27, 2005, at her residence. Mrs. Talmadge was born October 31, 1939, in Sussex County, Stockholm, NJ, and was the daughter of the late George Ross and Elizabeth Talmadge Ross.
Survivors include: her daughters Laurie T. Hopler and her husband Allen and Diana T. Elkie and her husband John; her sons Gary Lee Talmadge and his wife Debra and Greg Talmadge and his wife Tina all of Hertford, NC; sisters Uldine Ross, Barbara Rinkel, Valerie Reilly and Marlene Owens all of New Jersey; brothers Robert Ross, Horace Ross, Edward Ross, Kevin Ross, Vance Ross, Durwin Ross, and Wayne Ross, all of New Jersey and George Ross of Tennessee; twelve grandchildren Kimberly Scott, Jennifer Underwood and her husband Sherman, Danielle Bateman and her husband Martin, Crystal, Jeffrey and Kenneth Elkie, Virginia, Nicole and Ivory Talmadge and Crystal, Ebony and Detriss Winslow; and ten great-grandchildren, Katlin, Autumn, Zachary, Cody, Ryan, Brandi, Jonathan, Erica, Masana and Tykesse, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lee Talmadge, on September 12, 1987, a grandson, Karl Talmadge and one sister Velma Saunders.
A funeral service will be held at Twiford’s Northside Chapel on Thursday, December 1, 2005, at 2:00 PM with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating. Mrs. Brickhouse, a native of Pasquotank County, NC, was the daughter of Lois Ann Harrison Williamson, and husband James, of Camden, NC, and Gaither Parker Williams, and wife Pamela, of Crawley, WV, and the wife of Jimmie Daughtry Brickhouse, Jr., of the residence. She was a purchaser with Stateline Builders. She was a Pentecostal.
She is also survived by two daughters, Holly Miller, and husband Chad, of Bath, NC, Rachel Renee Donado, and husband Nandy, of Miami, FL; one son, Joshua William Russell and wife Heather, of Camden, NC; a step-son Jimmie Daughtry Brickhouse, III, and a step-daughter Danielle Nicole Brickhouse both of the residence; four loving sisters, Pamela Michelle Luton, and husband Bobby, Debbie Riggs, and husband Stacey, and Lynitata Stevenson all of Shiloh, NC, and Melanie Bright, and husband Ricky, of Elizabeth City, NC; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Miller, Bryce Miller, Skylar Norris, and Mateo Donado; grandparents, Jesse and Louise Harrison of Camden, NC; nine nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.

John Henry McDonald, 78, of 883 Horseshoe Road, Elizabeth City, NC died Saturday, November 26, 2005, at his residence. Mr. McDonald was born December 8, 1926 in Pasquotank County. He was a member of the Ramoth Gilead Baptist Church, veteran of the U. S. Army, and a retired assembly line employee with Ford Motor Company.
Survivors include: his wife Geneva Sawyer McDonald; sons Russell McDonald and his wife Mary Anne of Wheaton, MD and Frank McDonald and his wife Cheryl of Elizabeth City, NC; daughters Ellena M. Oglesby and her husband Daniel of Greenville, NC, Gaye M. Cunningham, Mandy L. McDonald and Genny M. Luff and her husband Kyle all of Elizabeth City, NC; brother Talmadge McDonald of St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his mother Polly Ann Jones Mc Donald; two sons C. B. McDonald, and Barry McDonald; one daughter Polly McDonald; a great-granddaughter Mayson Luff; six brothers and one sister.

Anna Dorothy Oseneek, 97, died Thursday, November 24, 2005 at the Outer Banks Hospital. Mrs. Oseneek was born in New York City and was a retired lab technician. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Wojciechowicz and the widow of William Adam Oseneek.
She is survived by one son, Robert W. Oseneek and his partner Jane Bibee, both of Kill Devil Hills; one sister, Sophie DeMartino of Long Island, NY; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Jessie Kreber Welsh, 84, of 11 Trestles Court, Camden, NC died Wednesday November 23, 2005 at the Albemarle Hospital.
Mrs. Welsh was born August 6, 1921 in Bexar County, San Antonio, TX and was the daughter of the late Major General Leo Myron Kreber and Jessie Steward Bannon Kreber.
She was preceded in death by her husband Col. Robert James Welsh
(U. S. Army) and a sister Catherine Marie Latham. She was an avid golfer.
Survivors include her daughters; Pamela K. Welsh of Camden, NC and Linda M. Johnson of Phoenix, AZ, her sons Robert L. Welsh of Camden, NC and James E. Welsh of Exton, PA., seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Roy Wilse Heath, 70, 118 One Mill Road, Shiloh, NC, died Thursday, November 24, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Old Trap, NC, the son of the late Roy Burgess and Amy Forbes Heath and was the husband of Patricia White Heath of the residence. Mr. Heath was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the 82nd Airborne and Special Forces as an electronic specialist. He attended Wesley United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Hall Lodge #53 AF & AM, Elizabeth City York Rites Bodies, and Order of the Eastern Star, Indian Ridge Chapter #319.
Beside his wife, Mr. Heath is survived by a daughter, Doreen Heath Ball and husband Billy of Shiloh, NC; two sons, Joseph Aaron Heath and wife Dianne of Greenville, PA, and Roy Wilse Heath, Jr. and wife Debra of Shiloh, NC; a sister, Olivia Heath Johnson and husband Charles of Edenton, NC; a brother, Steve F. Heath of Chesapeake, VA; four grandchildren, Roy, Curtis, Nicole, and Jeremy and two great granddaughters, Aliyah and Destany.
A memorial service with Military Honors and Masonic Rites will be held Monday, November 28, 2005 at 2:00 PM in Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Wood officiating.
