Albert George Wilson

Albert George Wilson, 91, of Salvo, NC, died Monday, October 14, 2013. He was born on October 5, 1922, to the late Joseph Wilson and Maud Smith, in Brooklyn, New York. Albert was an Army Ranger, and veteran of World War II, where he served in the 3rd battalion as a combat infantry man earning the Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart, from wounds he received in action at the Battle of Anzio. Later in life he worked for Bulova Watch company as a foreman and machinist. He loved to run his model trains and spend time making cabinetry.

He is survived by his loving children; daughters, Debbie Lorenzo and husband Frank, and Lorraine Curtis; his son, Albert “Buddy” Wilson, and his granddaughter Teresé.
