I considered Aunt Barbara my second Mom and have wonderful memories as a kid growing up. She will be sadly missed by me as well as all who knew her. She is now pain free, singing and rejoicing in heaven with those who have gone before her. The love of family and friends will help carry the Lewis’ through this time of sadness. God Bless

Momma was an inspiration to me and all who knew her. She kept the faith and was an honorable prayer warrior. Momma was the best in everything that she did. Momma loved the Lord with all her heart, mind and soul. I only hope that I can be half that person that she was. I will miss her greatly, but I know that she is in Heaven holding God’s hand and I will see her again one day. Momma was such a kind hearted person and she knew no stranger, she was and still is loved by many. I love you so much ;)

It was my honor to be Barbara’s sister-in-law. We actually thought of ourselves as “sisters”. She was always there for me and a source of joy and inspiration. I miss that voice that always said, I’m fine, even though I knew she wasn’t. I envy the mother she was to four wonderful children. If I had been a mother, I would have wanted to be exactly like her. Thanks, Barbara, for your devotion to family. I’m thankful you chose my brother. The Lord used you to spread a lot of joy, hope, and love to everyone you encountered. Thanks for being YOU, Barbara Lewis, my sister.
