Carolyn Bunch Daoust, 75 of 1045 Northside Road, Elizabeth City, NC died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Kindred Care.  Born in Elizabeth City she was the daughter of the late Richard R. Bunch and Lillian Sawyer Bunch and the widow of Raymond A. Daoust, Sr. She was retired from the Elizabeth City Cotton Mill and a member of Fountain of Life Church, the Jewel Dean White Circle and the Adult Ladies Bible Class.

She is survived by four daughters, Venesa Raynor of Elizabeth City, NC, Mellany Pachol of Tyner, NC, Deborah Roberts and husband Larry of Washington, and Bonnie York and husband Ray of Manns Harbor, NC; a son, Raymond A. “Bird” Daoust, Jr., and wife Teresa of Shiloh, NC; ten grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Elizabeth Simpson, Kathleen Barefoot, and Virginia Morse; two brothers, Willie Bunch and Hubert Bunch; a son-in-law, Bruce Pachol and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Fountian of Life Church with the Rev. Preston Pitchford, the Rev. Rick Lowery, and the Rev. Roland Cooper officiating.  Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and also immediately after the service at the church, and at the residence at other times.  Memorial donations may be made to either Community Hospice, 1601 N.
