    Sandy, Larry and family,
I have very fond memories of my younger years and spending time at your dad’s house with you. He reminded me of my dad, and I always felt welcome. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Charlie was one of a kind. He was by far my favorite neighbor. We loved talking with him and will miss seeing him. He welcomed us here as only he could do and we will be forever grateful. They just don’t make them like this anymore. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

To the family, you may not know me but I work here Albemarle Hospital Lifeline and I have had the pleasure to spend a little time with Mr.Sharber. My last visit with him back in the Spring was one I will never forget. He was in such a good mood and had mad chicken and dumplings the night before with his grandaughter( whom he loved dearly) and insisted that I have some. He just would not let me say no. I must say it was quite delicous! That’s what I remember most about him, no matter how bad he may have felt, he always knew how to make you smile. I was deeply sadden when I heard he had passed away. I pray over time that your hearts will heal and that you remember all the times as I am sure there were many that He made you smile.

    God Bless you all!
