I met Mr. Wheelbarger thru his housekeeper and friend carnell ricks. I had helped her clean his home a few times. He was a wonderful man and will surely be missed. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.

I was saddened to read of Mr. Wheelbarger’s death. I knew him as a frequent neighbor walker who would always come up to the fence to pet my golden retriever. He was always so friendly to the dog and my husband and me. I will miss seeing him and offer my condolences to his family.

I’m very sorry for your loss Dale. Your dad was a wonderful man and I have many pieces of furniture in both my Va. Beach and Corolla houses which he built that remind us of him frequently. I have fond memories working with him when he refinished and refurbished an antique clock for me which still resides on my mantel. We also frequently enjoy the porch swing he built for our Corolla house which looks out over the ocean from the third deck….I always think of your dad when we sit in it. Please give my condolances to your entire family.

    Sincerely, Kent
