Emmitt (Dee) Delois Middleton, 76, of Nags Head, died Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Colony Ridge nursing home. Dee was born in Penelope, Texas on January 1, 1937, the daughter of the late Emmitt (Cowboy) and Opal Blount. She had a son Robert Middleton and daughter Sharal Middleton Huit, also two sisters Glenda Dodge and Shirley Lewark; she had ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Dee worked at the S&R for over 18 years, she also was a member of the Manteo First Assembly in Manteo, NC.

Funeral service will be held at the Manteo First Assembly in Manteo, NC on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 3:00pm with Rev. Steve Smith. In lieu of flower donations will be made to the Manteo First Assembly in Manteo, NC.

Twiford Funeral Home, Manteo, NC is assisting the family with arrangements.
