Elizabeth Ann Kelley, 87, of Kill Devil Hills, died August 28, 2013. She is the daughter to the late Clara Bell Potts, and William Franklin Cox, and widow to her husband of 65 years, Walter E. Kelley, who died January 11, 2011. Walter was the love of her life. They traveled the country side in their RV, and were able to see 48 states. Elizabeth was a homemaker, an avid quilter, giving away many quilts to family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her, including her nieces who knew her as “Aunt Libby”.

She is survived by her three children, Ronald Kelley and wife Mary, of Hayesville, OH, Randall Kelley, of Kill Devil Hills, Pam Fockler and husband Earl, of Kill Devil Hills; 8 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Delaney Huberly, of California; and brother, William Cox Jr., of Lancaster, OH. Including her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her siblings, Robert Cox, Rosa Paulsen, Juda Savage, Betty Jo Cox, and Sophia Hutchinson.

The memorial service will be held at the Duck United Methodist Church’s Chapel-on-the-Sound, in the heart of Duck, Highway 12, on the left, on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at 5pm.
