Gregory Martin
Gregory Lawrence Martin, 50, of Kitty Hawk, died on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at The Outer Banks Hospital. He was born in Norfolk, VA, attended Norfolk Catholic School, graduated from Maury High School, and was an avid golfer, surfer, and snow skier. Greg was a very caring and outgoing individual who would do anything for anybody.
His unique group of friends he had, every one of them considered him to be an icon and a role model to all. Finding the bright side in every situation and always having that big smile on his face, his family and friends will never forget.
Greg is survived by his wife, Rhonda Elaine Hansen of the residence; a son, Robert Lane Martin of the residence; his parents, Robert Vincent Martin and Mary Kathryn Martin of Norfolk; three sisters, Kathe Zarate of Kill Devil Hills and Ann Corletto and Elizabeth Studer both of Norfolk; and a brother, Mark Vincent Martin of Chesapeake.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 19 at Christ the King Catholic Church on Tidewater Drive in Norfolk, Virginia at 6pm., followed by a gathering at the home of his parents.
There will also be celebration of his life held in Kitty Hawk at the Lillian Beach Access on Saturday, October 27 at 2pm., followed by a gathering at Longboards Island Grill.

passing when I returned to OBX recently.
