Ellen and family, my heart breaks for you in the loss of James, I have good memories of our childhood. James had grown and did so well for himself. So proud of him. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. May you find comfort in the memories that you made together.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although, I do not know your family personally, I would like to share some encouraging thoughts from the Bible. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. May these words give you a new hope.

  3. Myra Tadlock Gibson

My Mother, Sarah Key Tadlock, was Joe James’ sister: I was only 13 when we came from Washington State to visit our North Carolina family. It was so exciting to meet our Aunts and Uncles and cousins. Cousin James Key was about a year younger than me and I’ve never forgotten how special he and the rest of the family made me feel. I send my love and condolences to all of you.
