Jen, I was so sorry to hear about your dad. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I know your dad was so proud of you because you are such a beautiful person inside and out. I’m sure you have many wonderful memories of your dad. Those memories will help you get through the difficult times. Love, Kathryn Zimmerman
We miss you so much Joe! Nit nit nir!:)
Jan, we’re so sorry to hear about Joe. We both worked with Joe in the late 70′s and early 80′s at McNeil and though you may not remember us, we’ve met several times. Joe made work enjoyable… he was a bigger-than-life personality, and he will be sorely missed by all of us that knew him.
I am very sorry to hear about Joe’s passing and my prayers go out to your family. I worked with Joe at J&J in Spring House PA and carpooled with him from the Coopersburg area for many years. Joe supported many great projects at J&J that went on to make lives better for many people. Of course what I remember most is Joe’s great humor and how he made the ride to work always entertaining. From time to time I think of some of the silly things that Joe use to say, “small steps on the way in, big steps on the way out” (out of work of course). “dam blue heads” when an older driver was driving slow on the road. I have now been fortunate to work for J&J for 30 years, and I still reflect on the time that I spent with Joe, Peg, Craig and Bob in the carpool, and Joe was a big part of that fun. We were all lucky to have known him. Our thoughts are with your family.
Best Regards,
Tim
Jackie and family,
We are so sorry to hear about your father’s passing. Our prayers are with you.
Jan, please except my condolences on your loss of Joe. I knew Joe for many years through working with him at JNJ. We actually worked in the same CNS lab for several years, rode in the same carpool with Tim, George and Peggy, and we went on several camping/fishing trips. It was always exciting to be with Joe on theses trips because you never knew what would happen; something bizarre or crazy always did occur. On a fishing trip to north-central PA with Joe and Bill Baldy, we had: a flat tire on Joe’s camper within 5 minutes from the trip’s beginning, a tire fell off a car right in front of us on the way home and nearly hit us, and Joe came down with bronchitis after the trip! Of course there were incidents at work such as the time Joe broke a bottle of radioactive waste which shut down his lab for two days. There never was a dull moment when Joe was around. Joe was unique and had a saying for almost any situation. My personal favorite was “Don’t confuse activity with achievment”. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Craig
Dear Jan,
We’re so sorry to hear about Joe. He was such a nice man. Life has taken many twists & turns since our work together at SOSR. I think of you often and the impression you made on me while we were there together. Please know we’ll continue to think of you, the girls & Nicholas in the days ahead. Hug each other and remember how many people are glad to have known your family. You’re very special, good people. God bless you all. Love you, Billy & Marsha Brown.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
