Judy Willis

Judy Faye Willis, 60, of Hatteras, NC, entered into Eternal Peace on February 13, 2012. Judy was born July 25, 1951 in Norfolk, Virginia to Daniel C. Willis and Mildred Stowe Willis.  She moved to Hatteras with her parents in 1968.

Judy loved God and her Church.  She enjoyed traveling with her parents and spending time with family members.  Her simple life taught those who were close to her so much about being compassionate and caring.  She loved us with an unconditional love that could only come from being loved.

Judy is survived by her loving parents, Daniel and Mildred Willis of Hatteras; three brothers, Norman Willis, Danny Willis and Robert (Darlene) Willis, One sister, Marlene (Allen) Burrus.  Three nephews, Bobby Willis, Joshua Burrus and Jonathan Burrus, three nieces, Dori (John) Slaughter, Michelle (Michael) Summerlin and Jennifer (Zachary) Hackley and many great nephews and great nieces.

Judy was loved by those who knew her. We will always carry the memory of her in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hatteras Assembly of God.  The family will greet friends at the church on Thursday beginning at 6:00 p.m.  In addition to flowers memorials may be made to the Hatteras Assembly of God P.O. Box 245 Hatteras, NC 27943.
