Larry O’Neal Bunch, 78 of 3907 Caratoke Highway, Barco, NC died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Sentara Barco Nursing Home.  Born in Poplar Branch, he was the son of the late Jerry Judson Bunch and Jennie O’Neal Bunch.  He was a member of Sharon Untied Methodist Church.  His friends and family especially enjoyed his piano playing and artwork.

He is survived by two sisters, Olive B. Butt of Aydlett, NC and Janice B. Owens and husband Dean of Harbinger, NC; one brother, Gerald Bunch of Greenville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by four brothers, Glenn Bunch, Jerry Bunch, Jr., Norvell Bunch, and Levie Bunch.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with his nephew Jerry Owens officiating.  Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the lobby of the funeral home and at other times at the residence of his sister, Olive Butt, 126 Bunch Road, Aydlett, NC.  Twiford Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, NC is assisting the Bunch family.  You may express condolences to the family at www.twifordfh.com.
