I am so sorry to hear of Laura’s death. She was a friend in my youth at Moyock and Moyock Methodist church. It was very special to “reconnect” at the Moyock High School reunions over the past few years. I will dearly miss that sweet hug from Laura.

Laura and I were classmates, graduating together and only recently we attended our #53rd Moyock class reunion. She was always so willing to help and her personality was such an uplifting factor in planning our reunions….as was Gladys, who was our computer whiz even tho she did not graduate with our class. Prayers to her family…Laura will be so much missed by everyone who knew her.

Words themselves cannot fully express the sorrow that is felt over the loss of your dear Laura. My sincerest sympathy goes out to her friends and family. Losing a loved one is such a difficult thing to deal with. As time goes by, though, you will begin to realize that as you think of her smiles, her affection for family, her laughter, the pain has diminished a bit and you’ll find yourself smiling again. I didn’t know her personally but, having lost someone dear to me, I can empathize with the pain you have and continue to experience. What comfort such scriptures as John 5:28,29 brought me! You will read there about the promise Jesus gave of resurrecting our loved ones back to life. When he resurrected His friend Lazarus back to life, He showed his ability and desire to fulfill that promise. ( John 11:38-44 ) Can you just imagine the joy Lazarus’ sisters felt when they held him in their arms once again? This joy we too will feel in the very near future. Until that day comes, we have the promise that God will draw close to those whose hearts have been broken ( Psalms 34:18 ) I truly hope these few scriptures have helped lessen the pain you feel as they had mine.

I know Laura is in a better place. She had an upbeat spirit and was a joy to be around. She has taught me that life is a blessing and to live it one day at a time and to enjoy it. My prayers are with the family.

Just today I learned of Ms. Laura’s passing. She was such a sweet warm wonderful person every time she came to see me here at A Classy Closet was dear to me. We would have the best ‘girl’ talks full of laughs and jokes. I will cherish those memories and she is missed.
