The Zillifros and Herreras
Tom, Lynette, Marlowe, and Griff we stand with you, and with all of your family. Sometimes, that is the best, and really only thing, that friends can do. In every way over the years, you have always been there for our family, and we are grateful to have you as dear friends.
Life without partings is hard enough, but it seems that when we lose a family member, it is just made more difficult for a while.
Ray always seemed to take notice of me for some reason, and such things are never to be taken lightly in life. It is something for which I am grateful.
You are all in our prayers.

Lynette, Tom and family.
We were so sorry to hear of Mr. Ray’s passing. This will be a difficult time for you , but we know the lord will hold each of you in His strong arms and will give you peace.
I can’t imagine singing in choir without him. It is s great loss to all of us in the choir. There are many good memories of Mr. Ray and Jim Brown sitting next to each other and carrying the bass section. He will truly be missed in many ways. I know that there is a wonderful choir in heaven with Mr. Ray and Jim singing their hearts out. I am comforted to know he is without any pain, no tears, and is sitting at the feet of Jesus.
We will be praying for you all and hope you will call on us if you should need anything.
Love,
Reha & Dan Otte

Just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear of Ray’s passing.
We have a lot of good memories of Ray at the Crews family gatherings.
When we visited the Crews family at Christmas in Manteo, Jim, Karen, Jamie, and I attended Mt. Olivet Methodist Church. We were pleased to have the opportunity to hear Ray sing in the Church Choir.
He will also be missed driving his VW convertible around the area.
You are in my prayers.

So sorry for your loss. Ya all are in our thoughts and prayers. Wanted to share comforting thought. This has helped us a lot.
Its found at John 5:28,29. This shows that one day there will be a resurrection. We will be able to see our dead loved ones again. It will be much better because bad things, including death, will be no more (Revelation 21:4).

My thoughts are with you and your family at this time; may your memories bring you comfort.
