I am heartbroken to learn this sad news. Linda was my next door neighbor and I have been trying to call her for a while now having not seen her and got no answer. I was so worried and now to learn the worst has happened. My condolences to her family and her special friend, Paul. She was the sweetest person and was also a great friend and we spent so many times talking and she was also a great friend to my kitties, who visited her regularly. May she rest in peace, I will never forget her.

I am so sorry to hear about Linda’s passing. She worked with me at the College of The Albemarle and taught our Veterinary Assistant Class. Everyone who came in contact with Linda loved her and she was a wonderful instructor. She was a great animal lover and taught many students who are working in the field and she will be missed.

I know I speak for my wife (Bridgett – Linda’s youngest daughter), when I say she really appreciates the kind words and condolences from you all. She is still taking it very hard, but day-by-day, she is thinking more and more of the many happy memories with her mom. Linda was a special women who touched many lives while she followed her dream living near the ocean. I see much of Linda in her daughter, so I know Linda lives on. Thank you again. Sincerely, Don

It is with great sorrow that I learn of Linda’s passing. We were close friends many years ago, and I greatly regret that we lost touch. She attended my wedding, gave me a shoulder to cry on, and was a source of many good memories. I named my daughter Elizabeth in her honor, and am glad I did. To a great friend, a memorable coworker, and a person I miss every day, RIP Linda. One day, we shall meet again.
