What to say? How to let the family know how I feel about their and our loss of Linda? I mourn the fact that there won’t be all the wonderfully uplifting posts on FB. I rejoice in the fact that she’s with God and breathing freely and in no pain. I also rejoice in having known her for so many years–so many that I don’t remember NOT knowing her. This isn’t very clear, but just know that it was a pleasure to know and love Linda, and it will still be a pleasure to think of her. Thank you for sharing.
    Love, Mary

    Poochie and family,

My heart goes out to you and your family. As you know, Linda and I worked together for many years and it was easy to be friends with her since Stumpy Point and Manns Harbor folks had a kindred spirit. As I recall it took several years to get used to going to Manteo schools. Having worked with her so long (which was always a pleasure), I share in your grief. I will remember her as fun, hard working, pretty, smart and outgoing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
