Marshall Kellum

Marshall  “Cash” Lewis Kellum, 78, of 1148 Northside Road, Elizabeth City, NC passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 surrounded by his family.  Mr. Kellum, a native of Matthews County, VA., and was the son of the late William Griffin Kellum and Violet Edgworth Kellum and was the widower of June Marcella Burgess Kellum.    He was a master plumber and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Violet “Precious” Kellum and finance Chris Nicolai of Elizabeth City, NC; three grandchildren, Synthia, Nichole, and Alexander and great grandchildren; a special nephew, John Kellum; and a sister, Virginia Lee Kellum of VA.  The family extends special thanks to Mr. Kellum’s nephew’s wife Annette W. Kellum and her son Ken Kellum.

A graveside funeral service will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at West Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 noon to 1:30 at the funeral home.  Twiford Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, is serving the Kellum family.  You may express condolences to the family by visiting www.twifordfh.com.
