Pam, Ken, Ty, Ray, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchild:
Just want to express my deepest & heartfelf sympathy to all of you. Minnie was a very special person to me. She reminded me so much of my Mother of which I told her many times. It was so interesting to stop by and visit with her and Wilber Ray and listen to them talk about old times. Minnie always had something to tell me about my parents or my Mother. She would tell me I thought of something to tell you the other day and started to call but did not. She figured I would stop by and she could tell me then. All of you kids can rest well assured that Minnie loved each and everyone of you and your families. She was always intersted in knowing what you were doing and if there was any way that she could help. Your Mom, like my Mom, always put her family first and all of you are blessed as are my sister and I that we had parents that loved us and supported us in whatever we chose to do. We are all blessed to have the Mom and Dad that we had and now we must try our best to carry on their work in their loving memory.
My heart goes out to each of you but you have so many loving memories of your Mom and Dad and it is thise memories and a strong faith that will give you the strength to carry on. Your Mom and Dad were remarkable folks and Currituck County suffered a great loss upon loosing both of them.
May our Lord bless you and keep you and give you peace and His strength.
    B. U. Evans, III

Wish I could have been with you today.

Pam, Ray, Ken & Ty – I was so saddened to hear of your Mom’s death. She was truly one of my best friends. I was lucky enough to have visited with her on my last trip to Kitty Hawk. We spent the afternoon talking about old times, looking at old pictures and finally a late lunch. What a great time we had. I will surely miss her and all the information about our ancestors. She gave me some old photos and I made copies of a lot more. I offer my condolences to your and your families for your heart breaking loss.
