To the family of Mr Montell Cartwright, Sr.,
I wish to express my sincere condolences in regards to the loss of your cherished loved one.
Death is a merciless enemy of all mankind and is something we will never become accustomed to.
That is why Jehovah God promises to end suffering and death on earth very soon.
My hope is that the truths found in His Word, the Bible, provide a measure of comfort and peace.

June and I will miss our friend here on earth but rejoice knowing we will spend an eternity with Montel and family in heaven one day. Montel has been a dear, faithful friend for many years as June and I loved spending time both in Florida and NC with Faye and Montel going places and seeing new things. Montel was a faithful Christian, loving husband, wonderful father, and just a great man that we enjoyed getting to know and spend time with. We will forever treasure the many wonderful stories he told. To Faye, Sharon, Monty and their respective families our condolences in the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and friend. While he is in heaven and enjoying the best health of his life and we would not take that away from him, his absence here on earth leaves a void filled in part only by the wonderful memories we have of this remarkable man of God. Love you each.

Mrs. Faye, Monty, Sharon and family,
You may have lost a husband, a father, a grandfather, a friend, a mentor; you didn’t lose your memories, your love, your inherited talents and traditions! He will always be with you, and it will be the little things that will bring him back to you in an instant. May your love as a family sustain you all as you heal in your own way, in your own time. He is now in a perfect place and at peace. I am honored to have known him.
Peace and healing to each of you.
God’s blessings,
Sheila Rose Tyler

How blessed our family has been to have Mr. Montell and Ms. Faye as life-long friends. Dad, mom, Terri and I have talked about the wonderful times we shared with Mr. Montell. To dad and mom he was a childhood friend who became a life-long friend, a brother in Christ and a great neighbor. To me he was a Sunday school teacher, an example of a family man who loved Ms. Faye, Monty and Sharon, an encourager and a steadfast friend. We know all of your hearts are heavy as is ours, but be encouraged as one day a great reunion will be had and I believe it will greatly resemble the days we all enjoyed on Bells Island. We love you Ms. Faye. May God grant you peace today.
