Jay William Overton, 65, of Kitty Hawk, died Sunday April 15, 2012 in his residence. Jay was born in Pennsylvania and was self-employed as a marine electronic technician. He was a member of First Flight Church and attended Rutgers University. Jay served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.
He was predeceased by his parents, William M. and Marie Pinkerton Overton. Jay is survived by his cousin Cleron Carawan of Wanchese.
