Carolyn Barclift Parker, 82, formerly of Esclip Road Elizabeth City, NC died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Carolina House. Born in Pasquotank County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Elidure Barclift and Mabel Burtcher Barclift and the widow of Carroll Tolar Parker. Markham.  Together they raised two sons, Douglas Markham (Joyce) and Gary Markham (Cathy) all residing in Elizabeth City, NC. Mrs. Markham was a faithful member of Newbegun United Methodist Church.
