I am so sorry for your loss. Although, I do not know your family personally, I would like to share some encouraging thoughts from the Bible. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. May these words give you a new hope.

I just learned of Timer’s passing and I extend sincere sympathy to the family.
Timer was a special person whose personality helped the world be just a little better for lots of us. Its now better because he was with us, even for a short while.

    Harriet and Family,
I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing; I’ve been on the road between Manteo and Illinois with my husband’s father at 94. My Dad “Sie” thought the world of “Timer”; they were both in the Merchant Marine at the same time; I wonder if they were together in the MM. I’m so very glad you had him with you for this long; Dad died far too early, at 53. My thoughts are with you; losing parents is not an easy path as you already know. I clearly remember your Dad, and he always made me smile in a big way; and for some reason, he never forgot who I was all these years. He was truly a delightful and special man.
    Jule Dee

Harriet and Family, I just heard about your Dad’s passing. I am so sorry, but I know that he is in a better place. It wasn’t long ago when he came and visited my Dad (Carroll). It meant so much that he took time to come and see him. I pray that God’s comforting presence will be there for you and your family.
