Paula Juanita Fulcher Peele, 82, of Hatteras, died July 27, 2013. She was born October 24, 1930, to the late Paula Virginia and Edward Hayes Fulcher. She was born in Fort Henry, VA, lived in New York until the age of 15, Juanita and her family moved to Buxton, NC in 1946, where she met and married the late William Maxton Peele Sr. She was the last founding member of Our Lady of the Seas Catholic Church. She is best known for managing the KFC in Buxton and Hostess of the Channel Bass, passing her love of food to all her children. Her family was her greatest love and crowning glory.
She is survived by four children, William Maxton Peele Jr., and his children, Michelle and husband Tony, Catherine, and William. William Maxton Peele III, Paula Patricia Peele and her children, Jennifer Scarborough and I G, Kelsey and Keith, Ryan, Amy R. Goodman, Michael Oden Peele and wife Claudia. Sharon Peele Kennedy and children Eva, Carrie, and Stan. Jeffery William Kennedy, Lily Auna Kennedy, Wesley Hordell, Wyatt Hayes. She is also survived by her sisters Agnes and Carol and many nieces and nephews and family friends, Pat Deffons.
She is predeceased by grandson Micheal E. an infant granddaughter, and her brother Edwary
