I had the pleasure of meeting Aunt Rachael on a trip to Nags Head. I was with my cousin Col. Dixon. She and her husband Uncle Rabbit visiting us at Nags Head. They were both the most genuine people I have ever met. Even though I was not directly related to them they insisted I call them Aunt and Uncle. They made me feel like family. Col. my cousin was their nephew. I later attended a family reunion at their church with Randy Dixon and had a wonderful time with them and their family. I will mourn Aunt Rachael as my real Aunt. It was a blessing to know her, love to all of the Cartwright and Dixon Family! Lindsay Beddard
