Terry Etheridge

Terry Wayne Etheridge, 58, of 308 E. Burgess Street, Elizabeth City died Sunday, May 19, 2013 in the Albemarle Hospital.  He was born in Elizabeth City, NC on October 4, 1954 to the late Thelbert Hunt Etheridge and Etta Holt Etheridge.  Mr. Etheridge was the widower of the late Ruth Armstrong Etheridge.  He was a retired manager for a convenient store and a veteran of the US Army. 

Mr. Etheridge is survived by his sister, Sharon Vierrether of Elizabeth City, NC; a brother, Walter Franklin Etheridge of Raleigh, 11 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.  Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Etheridge and David Gibbs.

A Celebration of Terry’s life will be held at his residence, 308 E. Burgess Street, Apt. C, Elizabeth City, NC Friday, May 24, 2013, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.  Anyone wishing to send flowers, please send them directly to the family’s residence.  Twiford Funeral Home, 405 E.
