Willie Edward Huber, 76, of  Wanchese, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 peacefully in his home. Willie was a native of Snow hill, NC, born September 19, 1937, the son of the late Sidney and Virginia Huber. Willie was an Education Administrator for the Dare County School system, and a member of the Lions club.

Willie was survived by his wife Esther Marie Huber, 2 sons Jon and Lee Huber, and a Daughter Gina Chapman and husband Michael. 3 grandchildren, Lara Chapman, Elaina and Bryn Huber. Also a sister Vera Wilson of Goldsboro, NC and a brother Donald Huber of Snow hill, NC.

A private family graveside service will be held  at the Davis Cemetery in Pungo, NC. Donations will be accepted in lieu of flowers to the Dare County Hospice, or any charity.

Twiford Funeral Home, Manteo, NC is assisting the family with arrangements.

    I will truely miss seeing Mr Willie crusin the neighborhood on that riding mower. So very sorry for your loss and if you need anything you know I am right down the road. I can feel for your loss right at the holiday season coming on since I to had to let go of mine in Nov 5 years ago but we all must be strong at these times and realize its always better for them to no long suffer and have eternal life in heaven. They are aways with you in your heart and no one can ever take that away.
