Anita Wynne Baker, 55, of Pasquotank County passed away November 12, 2022 from the symptoms of a long illness called Huntington’s disease. Anita grew up in Camden County on Areneuse Creek. She was the daughter of the late Charles Calvin Wynne and the daughter of Doris Ballance Wynne.
She is survived by her husband, Tony L. Baker; daughter, Amber B. Johannes and husband Eddie; brother, Steve C. Wynne and stepbrother, Christopher C. Wynne and wife, Katherine; and grandkids, Edwin D. Johannes and Brody M. Johannes.
As a child she loved nature and was a member of the 4-H and became an assistant at the camp. She was a very hard worker. She worked as cashier, clerk, waitress and all who met her loved her personality. She was so pretty. She was an accomplished Archer, loved to fish and outdoor sporting activities, and most of all she loved her family. She kept the family together for the holidays. She was a wonderful homemaker.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Twiford Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Clay Manos officiating. The family will receive family and friends in the lobby immediately following the service.
