Mimi, I know you will miss ole Bill; but I also know you now have a guardian angel to take care of you and your family. He was a good friend and neighbor for over 40 years and will surely be missed by us. I’ll always think of him when I watch The Woodwright on UNC tv. He never did master the carpentry shown; but he enjoyed banging on his collected wood, bending nails and hitting his thumb, while trying. In his later years, Becky would hear him snoring in the back yard, while sitting in his chair, ‘watching the boats go by’. The grumpy old guy left us with many funny, good, and lasting memories. You stay well, safe, and tell Tabor that his grandpaw greatly enjoyed their fishing trips.
