Bradley James English, 43, of Wanchese, NC went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 17, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.
Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Bradley was the son of Donna Medeiros and the late Joe Medeiros. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Leighton and uncle Derrick Leighton. Bradley is survived by his brothers, Douglas English, Neil English (Gina), a sister Dionne English (Jerry), two nephews, Joey Glover and Ethan Basnight, two nieces, Marianna Riley and Ava Joy English, an aunt and uncle, Cindy and Kenny Offley and cousins, Kiara Davis (Julian), Kelynn Offley, Kenzie Offley and Jared Leighton.
Bradley was kind and had a heart of gold. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart and was their protector. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and faithful to all churches in his community. His faith was bold and unshakeable. It wasn’t uncommon for Bradley to show up in the middle of a sermon, with either a cup of coffee or a couple cans of Coke in hand. Most of the time Bradley was late for church because he would leave one church service and head to the next. He genuinely loved his church family!
Bradley was strong, hardworking and a jack of all trades. Many times, you would see him mowing lawns, delivering for Ross Seafoods or helping wherever he saw a need. He was a man of his word. No matter the circumstance; if he said he was going to help you, he did. Bradley may not have been born in Wanchese, but he was a Wancheser through and through. Although our hearts are broken, we can rest assured knowing Bradley is finally Home and in the arms of Jesus.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
The family will receive friends and relatives for a viewing and visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Bethany United Methodist Church.

Bradley ,What can I say about this man that I have known for a long time but have gotten really close too this past year. Well no doubt the good Lord had us cross paths at a time when I could lean on him and he on me.Our time spent drinking coffee was a highlight talking about how good and merciful God has been to us both.I thank the Lord for Bradley and I am sure he has the nicest John Deer mower in Heaven !

Much love and prayers to the family. Bradley had many skills. I can see him now on a mower cruising to the store. He had such a sweet soul. Please take comfort in the fact he is with Jesus, probably making him smile.
