Condolences for the family of “Brandy James”

Condolence from Janelle Kelly-Hamel on June 10th, 2022 4:54 pm

My family and I forever have a hole in our hearts, although I am glad that we have so many happy memories of time spent with my Aunt Brandy. She was larger than life and always a hero in our eyes. I am glad she is reunited with my dad (her brother). I know that was a happy reunion. She was the type of person who had a big impact on all the people whose lives she touched. Rest in Peace Aunt Brandy, We will miss you greatly until we meet again.

I had the honor of working with Brandy at the Joint Staff facility in Suffolk. She was mission focused, diligent, and always eager to learn. She helped me learn, as well. I’m glad our paths crossed in life. I know you will miss her greatly, and I’m sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.

2 Corinthians 1: 3,4 3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.

Condolence from Ralph and Virginia Lee Hundley on June 20th, 2022 7:55 am

Lee and I are very saddened about Brandy’s passing. You will continue to be in our prayers for your loss. Thank you for taking such good care of her and bringing so much happiness into her life for many years. Brandy and I met in 1974 at HQMC working together daily on a small research team. Back in that “ancient” time I rarely met or even talked to a “lady Marine” so I had little knowledge or appreciation for their professionalism. Brandy’s superb knowledge, professionalism, daily example, and friendliness immediately won my total respect and admiration for her, both as an individual and as a Marine leader. Brandy is in the very top of the best military officers and leaders I ever met, and we can be assured that she had a very positive effect on many lives. Let all of us that knew Brandy be thankful that she was our friend and appreciate how deeply she touched our lives.

I am very sorry for your passing. My condolences to you and your family. In Jesus’ name I pray that she rest eternally in the Lord’s love and grace; that the holy Mary, the angels and all the saints welcome her into heaven; that all sins be forgiven and that Christ who was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead bring you salvation and peace.

We ask, O Lord, for Thy mercy, to have pity on us that when we are freed from the perils of mortal life, that our spirit is restored in heaven in everlasting love and salvation. Through Christ our Lord,

What a loss of an incredible woman. I met Brandy several years ago in the parking lot of TJ MAXX and struck up a conversation about horses because of her decals on her car. We texted back and forth and enjoyed many great conversations about the love of our horses. Brandy was indeed a magnificent and patriotic woman whom I greatly admired.
