Condolences for the family of “Christine S. Gray”

Condolence from Antoinette Guess on July 11th, 2019 5:52 pm

I loved Christine. Such a wealth of Kinnakeet history, always smiling and so sweet and special. My last conversation (during lunch at Burger/Burger I think) she was telling me about going to the harbor for sunset and how beautiful it was. She said she didn’t know why she didn’t go watch it more often . I’m so happy someone took pictures there with Mallory and a few of her other grandchildren that night. She is now with our Creator and still smiling down on us. What a reunion she must have had. Prayers of peace for the family but we know where she is and we’ll see her again.

Condolence from Tabitha Filer on July 22nd, 2019 8:17 pm

My most Sincere and loving condolences to “All the family” of Christine, what a joy in the last several years to see her smiling face, and hear her encouraging words.. I cant remember not knowing her.. you… ” family ” relish the wonderful memories I know she has left you, and remember time truly, “Is just a vaper” , such a short time, though it seems so long as you grieve.. eternity is so close for us all.. a blink of the eye… I loved and thank God for the words that could bring a smile to my face, the love she shared with myself and all who came to know her.. I share a funny and sentimental memory ” when I was perhaps 14years of age.. Christine & my dear Aunt Rose, ( now reunited with your Mama”) took me under wing as I worked my real 1st good paying job” ( good for a 14 year old”) it was her, Christine, Aunt Rose and I who cleaned cottages on the weekend, Saturdays came to myself, to be a ” looked forward to time, ” as I worked beside them both, they were so funny togather and I know I hid my laughter many times as they argued on what time” that we’d have a snack or rest break, which were probably more than needed but great times to talk, laugh and listen…lol… I now, older . .realize they also were “Smart “.. as they would tell me, ” now Tabitha, you do the stove, and toilets, there easier, haha, ” now I know “,easier they were not”.. but the laughter, fun times, jokes and words of wisdom shared to me, make me realize I would clean a million toilets to just share in all they did & spoke to each other and with myself. .. my heart hurts for you, but also since losing daddy, I realize what a joy, and reunion it will be, sooner than we may know, and” yes”.. it hurts, but how Blessed we are to have such wonderful memories to think on, not all people are so blessed. so cry, ok… , and laugh when the time comes , and take pride, and joy in having such a strong, wonderful woman to have been blessed with to you, and to all of us.. we will meet again.. for to know Christ is the “Best Insurance Plan” I can imagine, to be reunited again when HE” calls us home.. what a reunion it will be.. know I am praying and believing God is comforting your hearts today and even more each day.. and I pray you be at peace and also His’.. love & care to you all.. God strengthen and lift you in coming days.. my prayers are with you all” to the family ” .She has run her race, and Now is the Victor … all my love and prayers “Tabitha (Farrow) Filer… ♡
