Dear Family members,
I had not known Ann but a short while when we would meet at the beauty shop but I fell in love with her while we were getting our hair done. We talked about our ailments and laugh a lot. When she was unable to go, we all worried about her. I would call to check on her or sent her a card which she seemed to enjoy getting..
I missed her today when I arrived and the girls told me she had passed and on my birthday too. She was two years older than I am.
Please know that you are all in my prayers.

Condolence from Ann Milam on October 1st, 2020 2:47 pm

Ann was a good friend. We had many good shopping trips together and played lots of bridge. She had suffered a lot since her accident in Ireland years ago. I talked to her on her birthday, June 8th, and she didn’t sound well at all but she wanted to remain at home. I am glad she was able to remain there and I am thankful that she is now at rest and pain free. She dearly loved her nephews. Ann Milam, Winston-Salem N C

Years ago I met Miss Moore when she moved back to EC. I am sure she wanted to be close to her mother. I remember her as being a very kind and considerate lady. Please accept my condolences.

I am so sorry about Miss Ann. I have cleaned for her the last several years and I grew to love her. I would take her to get her hair done when she was able to go. I am going to miss her. You are in my prayers.

Condolence from Mary K Thomas on October 3rd, 2020 7:02 pm

Ms. Ann was in my Mom’s Monday afternoon Bridge Club. My mom really thought she was so nice. She met my mother-in-law Louise Thomas at the buzz around in Farmville NC. My husband grew up in Farmville. My mother in law was talking about her grand daughter who has the same name as my mom. She introduced herself and said she lived in E City and played Bridge with my mom. My mother in law thought she was such a nice lady.

I would see her now and then and she always asked about my mom who died in 2017. I tried to keep in touch by sending her some cards, but since COVID I didn’t see her again. She was such a special lady and she really loved Farmville.
