Eva Bundy, 83, of Elizabeth City died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at her residence. She was born February 24, 1939 in Perquimans County to the late Raleigh Lee Byrum and Ruth Iris Elliott Byrum, and was the wife of Luther Clyde Bundy, Sr. of the residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Evangelical Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband of sixty-five years, she is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Twiford (Tony) and Ruth Cheeks (Buddy); two sons, Luther Clyde Bundy, Jr. (Shea), and Leslie Bundy (Tina): five grandchildren, Missouri Lindenberg, Blake Bundy, Caityn Horn, London Bundy, Landon Bundy; four great grandchildren, Ryan Foster, Taylor Phthisic, Brittany Phthisic, Mya Hernandez; and one great great-grandson, Daxon Goodrow; sister, Joyce Gardner, (Joe, Sr.). She was predeceased by a sister, Eucell Temple; brother, Lawrence “Larry” Byrum; son, Larry Clarence Bundy; and grandchildren, Wesley Bundy and Logan “Brad” Bundy.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. in West Lawn Cemetery with the Chaplain Scott Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
