Frederick Cook, age 67, of Wedgewood Dr., Moyock, NC died on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Cook was born in Charleston, SC on March 12, 1953 to the late Patrick Frederick Cook and Marie O. Pauley. He served his country honorably in the U. S. Navy as a Radioman (1971 – 1994) and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He was later employed for sixteen years by Par Technologies, based in Rome, NY and was a long-time member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Robin, and his two sons, John and Jeff Cook, along with their wives and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Twiford Memorial Chapel, officiated by Minister Kevin Reiver. The family will receive friends following the service. Robin I am sorry to hear about your loss! Prayers for you and the entire family.
Cheryl and I are so sorry to hear of your loss Robin. I will always remember the stories that Fred would tell about the Civil War. Fred loved history of the US and not only going to the Civil War Reenactments but he also loved to participate in them. Fred also loved horticulture and gardening. Fred would talk about how he loved the military that he served in and flew the American flag very proudly. RIP Fred Cook. You will be very missed by any and all that knew you.
So sorry for your loss. Fred was a great guy. Prayers for the family.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Fred. I had the pleasure of working with Fred from 1996 until 2000 while at Comptek Federal Systems. He was a good guy and please accept my prayers for the family during this difficult time. I will miss the Emails.
