Gina was a hard working dedicated co-worker of mine. She, without hesitation, would listen and have helpful words of encouragement. She was thoughtful and intentional in everything she did. I wish I could go back in time and thank her for caring when she didn’t have to and for all of the help she gave me. She will be missed dearly. I am so sorry to her family and friends and co-workers who turned into friends for this unexpected loss.

Dear Craig and Family,

We want to express our deepest sympathy and care to you at this most difficult time. Even though we did not have the pleasure nor the honor of knowing Gina we feel as though we did through the many beautiful stories we have heard throughout the years. Not only was she a wonderful cook, a loving mother and a devoted wife, she obviously was a beautiful person inside and out. Our hope is that good memories of all the good times you shared will help ease your sorrow as time passes. Do take care and know Gina will remain in your hearts forever.

Deanna and Leo you brought this beautiful, joyful soul into our lives on a rainy, Memorial Day 54 years ago on the 31st. Her aunts and I never had children of our own to raise and Gina was the first of three nieces we were able to spoil and return to their parents at the end of the day! And then Gina and Craig had their children who spent so much time at our house. And then great, great niece and nephews where we were able to join in the joyful lifetime activities. Her circle of life goes on. Love you baby girl.

Condolence from Zachary Hill on May 20th, 2020 3:07 pm

Gina was a coworker of mine at E.V. Williams and Branch Civil. She was actually the first person I met at the company when I came in for an interview. I will never forget her pleasantness and positivity that she had each and every time I interacted with her. We shared a field office for close to a year and she always kept the morale of the office and the field as high as it could be. My wife and I send our love, condolences, and prayers to your family during this time.

I was in Jr. High School when you were born and Deanna and Leo lived next door to us. I got to see you very often and babysit for you. From a baby to and adult, I always saw you with a big smile and that is how I will always remember you. Love you Aunt Shirley and Uncle Ronald

Condolence from Lea. Ferrari on May 20th, 2020 6:21 pm

I keep asking myself how could this happen to my beautiful niece. Gina was like a daughter to me. I will miss her calls and how excited we got each year making our vacation plans to the Outer Banks. My heart goes out to her mom and dad (Deanna and Leo, my brother) and her husband and children (Craig, Cory and Cari) Gina’s love and concern for both sides of the families was boundless. We will miss you Gina.
