Condolence from Mary Jolliff Moore on June 2nd, 2020 11:16 am

I knew Horace the boy, who was such a young’un back when I knew him, and Billy was not seen around, if he’d even been born yet. Viola was so proud of her boys. It seems so strange to be jotting a line on Horace’s obituary so soon after his mother’s. Billy, carry on the proud family. I remember Mrs. McCreary, who was your great-grandmother. She was proud of your Dad. There’s a lot to be said for tradition. I pray our God will keep you and yours in good health for years to come. May your memories keep your spirits up.

Condolence from Reggie Brice on June 8th, 2020 3:45 pm

My deepest condolences to Billy. I worked with Horace for about six years and we formed a special bond that I will always hold near and dear to my heart. Horace and I would go to lunch together as much as we could in a given week when it worked out for us that way at work. I would always bounce ideas and personal thoughts I had about various things and he would always offer his well thought out reply. Had no idea that the last time I would see him and mom was the last time me and my family had the pleasure of having dinner with them right before he moved back to Manteo. Keeping you and your family In our prayers Billy. God bless.
