John “Jack” Kellogg, Jr.

John Gordon Kellogg, Jr (Jack),66, of Manassas, Virginia died on May 7, 2015 at his residence from a long illness. A native of Manteo, NC, he was the son of the late Gordon and Alice Kellogg. Jack attended Carolina Military Academy and Manteo High School. He attended Campbell College and graduated and received his Master’s degree from East Carolina University. He was in the US Naval Air Reserves. Jack was in computer sales for most of his career and later retired from Kellogg Supply Company in Manteo, NC.
Jack is survived by longtime companion, Linda Arnold of Manassas, VA; one sister, Bettie Kellogg of Manteo, NC; cousin, Tom White, Jr. of Manteo, NC; three nephews, Tom, Gordon and Ward Blanchard, spouses and three great nieces and a great nephew.
The family will have a private burial. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jack’s memory to The Lost Colony, 1409 National Park Drive, Manteo, NC 27954.

Prayers with the family. Loved the stories he would share with me as I worked on some of his jobs. How the Griggs and Kellogg family business actually worked together to make business positive for one another!! May God’s holy spirit surround you all!

Bettie, I am saddened by the news of Jack’s passing. I haven’t seen him in many years, but I remember how kind he was to me when I babysat for Tom. Keep your memories close. May God bring comfort to you all.
