To the family of Mrs Kathleen,
I am a total stranger to the family, but DID want to share that Mrs Kathleen and I sometimes got talking about our mutual love for all things growing, and swapped some cuttings, too. My yard, on Poplar Drive, pays tribute to two great GARDENERS, Evelyn Cartwright and Kathleen Meads, will be remembered, every time I am outside, looking at my “inherited” plants.
May good memories help you through this difficult time of loss.

Kathleen was one of the first people we met when we moved here 16 years ago. She was a good neighbor and good friend. It seems like only yesterday that we were at her 90th Birthday Party at the Weeksville Lions Club. We will miss her, dearly. — Stan and Donna

My sympathies to Wayne, Susan, and family. The photo chosen of Mrs. Meads is delightful – that is how I will remember her. I have admired family members dedication to preserving her independence. She was loved, admired, and cared for – what a blessed woman. She will be missed.

To the family of Mrs. Meads. I was so saddened to see that Mrs. Meads has passed away! What a sweet, kind and very nice lady she was! I worked at the SECU for 16 years and always enjoyed visiting and chatting with her when she came in! I also got to visit with her for the last time a few years ago at our farm market when she stopped by with Lavonne. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.
