My sincere wishes of comfort and healing during this time of sadness. May his spirit live on for you in the beauty of nature, especially that of the outer banks. I have fond memories of Pretz smiling and joking as he fried up a kettle of fish in his front yard. A wonderful gathering of family, sharing love and great food. Heartfelt hugs to all.

To Stacey and family. May the love of God comfort you during this grieving transition. Though you’re surrounded by loved ones now, in the days to come they will be gone. You will find yourself crying and missing him dearly. My prayer is that in those moments, you will be encouraged by every fond memory you hold:)

Noreen and family so sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathies to wonderful neighbors. May God comfort you during this difficult time.
My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Noreen, I’m truly sorry for your loss of Leon. You two had 44 GOOD years together and many, many, GOOD memories. As time goes on and the grief you are feeling now will fade (but never go away) and you will begin to think and laugh at the wonderful times you two had together. The times your children were born, etc. My heart goes out to you and your FAMILY. Just remember you have a host of friends who are praying and thinking of you. Love you!
My prayers and hopes for comfort to all that knew him and loved him. He was a great father in law as well as a great man. I will never forget all the fun times I had with him waking up at 5:00 am to go fishing (or hearing him walk out the door at 4:30 am and missing my ride to the beach), talking about fishing and eating fish! The first time I met him I immediately liked him! He was funny (and blunt at times, but always truthful) and seemingly without a care in the world living life to the fullest. I will miss him very much. Prayers and blessings to all.
Leon and myself have known each other since childhood and had many many great times together. He was always a happy go lucky person and was as good a person as anyone would want to meet-I will miss his yearly visit to my home in Lucernemines pa where Leon and myself grew up, and the talks we had about the good old days. I was very shocked to hear about his passing and just wanted to say that my hope and prayers are for everyone in his family. I will miss pretz
We were sorry to hear about the loss of Leon. We both knew him from Dillon’s Corner where he used to work . Know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Very sincerely, Cindy and Ed Wilkins
