He was a big, gentle teddy bear. We were there together during the bloom of EMS in Dare Co. All volunteers of course. Many of our old comrades in heaven to greet this beloved man. Vivian, he always spoke of his love for you. Charles, Andrew; he was proud of you. God. We’ll miss him

Condolence from Leary Sink on December 1st, 2021 3:07 pm

I met Mark sometime in the late 70’s when he was a volunteer EMT. He had a heart & sense of humor as big as he was. Through the years I would run across him on EMS calls and he was always Mark, he never changed no matter how crazy things were at a scene, he was always calm and collected devoted to patient care and his EMS partners.
Gone but never forgotten. Sending prayer for comfort and healing to his family.
