
Marty Bruce Jacobs, age 53, of Brickhouse Lane, Elizabeth City died Friday, June 26, 2020 at his residence. A native of Pasquotank County he was born July 16, 1966 to the late Luther Ray Jacobs and Margaret “Linda” Jacobs. Marty was a commercial fisherman/equipment operator, a jack of all trades and master of many. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Marty is survived by his daughter, Amber RaLynn Jacobs; his son, Ryan Cole Jacobs (Emily Atkins) all of Elizabeth City; the mother of his children and his soulmate, Darlene Biggs Jacobs; three grandchildren, Drake Lee Thornton, Brailynn Rae Thornton and Cole Carter Jacobs; three brothers, Kevin Ray Jacobs (Amy) of the Outer Banks, Randy Jacobs and Patrick Jacobs (Jessica Elliott) all of Elizabeth City; best friend and duck hunting partner, Toby; and many extended family members and friends.
