Mary Louise Mitchell Riddick, 93, of Elizabeth City, NC died Wednesday, June 24, 2015. She was born in 1921 in Merry Hill, NC to the late Thomas Mitchell and Ida Phelps Mitchell and was the wife of the late Oscar Linwood Riddick. Mrs. Riddick was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and was a volunteer for the Museum of the Albemarle for twenty-five years.
Mrs. Riddick survived by her grandchildren Chancy Riddick-Eckert and Jake R. Riddick. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her loving son, Oscar R. “Rick” Riddick.
A Time of Remembrance will be held Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The Riddick family is served by Twiford Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, 405 E.
