She is survived by her children, Junior Pratt (Colleen Pratt) of Bastrop, LA, Lorrie Ann Hanssler of Columbia, NC, Bruce Pratt of Brunswick, NC, Brian Pratt (Annie Tillett) of Nags Head, NC, Rocky Pratt (Nicole Pratt) of Jarvisburg, NC, and Vaughn Pratt (Kimberly Pratt) of Wanchese, NC; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, lots of amazing friends, and her loving K-9 companion, Bingo.

The family would like to share their appreciation for the loving thoughts and prayers received during this time. Maryann will truly be missed.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Twiford Colony Chapel with Pastor Mark Hinson officiating.

Aunt Mar was truly a amazing woman. Growing up with her in my life was a big part of who I am today. There is not one childhood memory that doesn’t start or end with out her in it. Uncle Gordon absolutely adored her. She was the center to his everything. I could go on for hours of all the crazy, funny memories I have of my mom and Aunt Mar. When they moved out of Philly it truly broke my heart. They only real aunt, uncle and cousins were leaving me behind. Because they were honestly closer to me then my own blood family. But social media helped me find a few of them and see how grown everyone was and their beautiful wives and children. Seeing the smile on her face in every picture she took with her babies. Including her Bingo. Lorrie, Junior,Bruce, Brian, Rocky, Vaughn and all her amazing grandkids and their mommies, I am truly sorry for your lost. She was the best and she will be truly missed. I would love to see you all again. It’s been to long. My prayers are with you all.

I was so sorry to hear of Maryann’s passing. She was a kind neighbor when I lived in Wanchese. We shared many conversations about life and faith and I was always thrilled to see her and Gordan slip into the back pew on some Wednesday nights. To her loving family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
