Maureen Joan King, age 69 of Hunter Street, Elizabeth City, NC died Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Maureen was born February 13, 1952 in Colorado Springs, CO to the late Irven Ray King and Joan Agnes Butcher King . She was a retail sales associate and loved spending time with her daughter and her grandchildren as well as her extended family.

Maureen is survived by her daughter, Samantha Allred; grandchildren, Lia Leon, Allison Vaughn, and Jason Rudd; sisters, Anne Crain (Bob), Joanne Hubbard (Ralph), Marge Picarsic (Tom), and Trish Bowen (Jim); and brothers, John King (Judy), Bill King (Mary) and Gary King (Nora).
