Nancy Warren Worsley, 93, of Kill Devil Hills, NC died Monday, December 6, 2021, at The Outer Banks Hospital.
Born in Conetoe, NC on September 8, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Gammon Warren and Paul E. Warren.
Nancy was an executive director for the American Cancer Society. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rocky Mount, NC, the Outer Banks Presbyterian Church and the Rocky Mount Junior Guild. Very social, Nancy was an avid bridge player who loved the beach, the water, and traveling. She enjoyed her family condo on the Outer Banks since 1976.
She is survived by three children, Carl “Pogie” Worsley (Laurie), Ruth Sheaffer (Ken), and Fran Geraghty; two grandchildren, Will and Ashlee Geraghty; a sister, Cora Lee Gold; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Worsley; and a brother, Paul Warren.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Pineview Cemetery, 761 E Raleigh Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.
