Norman Glenn Knox, 71 of 1005 Tuscarora Avenue, Elizabeth City, NC died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at his residence with his children by his side. He was born in Martin County December 4, 1946 to the late Jessie Knox and Ethel Berlyn Williams Knox and was the widower of Maxie Carol Stallings Knox. He was the owner and operator of Knox Plumbing Company and a member of the Elizabeth City Loyal Order of the Moose 1847.
He is survived by two daughters, Skippy Knox Gonzales (Rocky) of Conyers, GA and April Knox Malton of Peterborough, England; a brother, Thomas Rawls of Pikeville, NC; three grandchildren, Sky Yoder, Benjamin Yoder, and Jennifer Malton; and a great grandchild, Koda Austin. He was pre-deceased by a sister Louise Edward; and two brothers, Eugene Knox and William Asa Rawls, Jr.
A graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in New Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating.
