An excellent person, funny and very caring about others. Such a good example for everyone to live life to the fullest and that age doesn’t matter for anything. We will always remeber you with love and gratitude. Our condolences to the family. R.I.P Bob.

Rest in Peace Bob.

Bob will truly be missed as he was definitely a member of the “greatest generation.” Bob had so much personality and character which beamed from his spirit. I first met Bob when he owned the business Metro Rental in Kill Devil Hills and also the Roanoke Island Yacht Club (now the Colington Yacht Club). Bob and I had a couple of interests together which were sailing and radio control airplanes.
Bob, I will really miss you and I am so happy that I got to know you! God Bless you and your family! Jim

My condolence to the family. Bob was a good friend when he lived in Dare County. I lost track of him when he moved away. He was a man of many talents and a most interesting personality. He and his family were instrumental in helping start the Roanoke Island Presbyterian Church in Manteo.

To all Bobs family, I just found out today that Bob passed away on Thanksgiving day. He had called this summer to say he was coming back to the US to live out in Colorado. We were looking forward to seeing him again. My deceased husband Pete and Bob were good friends and my son Paul and I will miss “crazy” Bob. No one can fill his giant shoes. I still have the pillow and blanket that Bob wove on his loom for me. He could do anything: loom beautiful blankets as well as build fire places, plumb your house and actually build you a house! Bob was also a successful business man. He had a good heart and was kind and generous. He loved America. I will miss him, and my children Paul, Pam and Janet will as well. Rest in heaven Bob.
