Robert (Bob) Walkowicz, 76, of Frisco, NC passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015. Born in Somerset Co., NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Walkowicz. He worked many years for a New Jersey newspaper. He and his wife, Phyllis, moved to Hatteras in 1987 where he worked a few jobs, his favorite being the last.
Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves behind three sons, Bobby, Jr and wife, Liz, Darryl and wife, Desiree and Keith and daughter-in-law, Laura all of New Jersey; as well as six grandchildren and many friends. His sense of humor will be missed by all.
A gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate in his name to The Cancer Outreach Services thru the Outer Banks Hospital, 4800 S. Croatan Highway, Nags Head, NC 27959 or the Outer Banks SPCA, PO Box 2477, Manteo, NC 27954.
