Condolence from Tracy Pierce on April 5th, 2022 7:14 pm

I will surely miss Miss Rubelle. She was like a grandma to me. At Christmas, I would take my girls over there to enjoy her beautiful Christmas tree and she showed us how to fix Christmas goodies a few years. She loved cards, so we would always make sure to look at her cards that were hanging up behind the door. She also enjoyed pictures of her grandchildren and I feel like I know everyone in the family. She was always ready to give a big smile and a hug to us when ever I opened the door to come in. I met Rubelle at Corinth church . We would sit with her or behind her pew so we could talk every Sunday. She loved church and loved her family. I just wanted you to know how special she was to me and how much she meant to us. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Your mom was a special lady. I enjoyed working with her at Calvary and enjoyed every minute from cooking the butterbean lunches to working on the Church’s History Books. Always looked for her at Belk’s and really missed her when she retired. My last visit with her was great and lasted for twice as long as we “looked” back over the years. Thinking of all of you during this time.
